bigragu, Tiger has been at juice at some point . There is no way with his body type he could have put on the mass he has AND played tournament golf. When you weight train hard there is no way you can swing the club well the next day or the day after. Hitting lots of golf balls and the walking in golf is going to be catabolic. I have suspected for a long time the Woods myth is not all it seems. I have my doubts about Pacman too and I am a fan of him. A lot of top guys use drugs.

some is much less than most. But over the course of 18 holes you would have that build up. In golf all it takes is that smidge and you’re off by yards. It could help with concentration. You cannot tell me a fatigued athlete can concentrate as well as a fresh one.

Actually raging, the info ive given is true. While true, lactic acid does cause pain, newer research suggests lactic acid is a fuel. Some athletes have very high pain supression and they do not need drugs for it. Think of the term,”no pain, no gain.” Before you dismiss me, do the research. No need to downplay Google if you use it too.

If you did any besides copying down the first sentence you googled you would have read that Lactic Acid is responsible for the “Pain” athletes feel when they are doing extreme excercises. If another drug takes away that “Pain” you can perform at a much higher level for a longer period of time. Now you know. And knowing is half the battle.
ragu, i respect your stuff BUT lactic acid is not designed to slow you down. In fact lactic acid is a source of energy. It burns extremely fast. Please do the science research.

Blood tests are far more accurate and can detect if an athlete has used a substance weeks prior to the test rather than days.
Boxers get urine tested before the fight which is pretty pointless because it cannot detect all drugs and can only detect if the athlete has used HGH roughly within a 24-48 hour time period.
Boxers use steroids in training camp in order to train harder, recover quicker, get stronger etc. By the time they get to fight night all traces of roids in their urine would have disappeared yet the effects of the drugs on performance will remain.
