In this episode of The Tech Shout Out we go deeper into detail about the Google Nexus One phone and how Google will make the phone the right price! clicky.me

I don’t think apple is moving out of the game. If anything they are looking for ways to expand and i’m sure we’ll see it coming in the next couple of years. Windows Mobile won’t be around we see it now but it will be recreated into a new mobile experience.
i think apple is moving out of the game slowly , WinMob will not be seen soon , so think google will play on the market freely for long period
Subcontiously i have forced myself from buying a android phone because you are at the carriers digression when it comes to official android updates. and i have withheld from buying any smart phone for the insignificant data and the ridiculous charges that go with it. so i want to express my admiration for google to take the first true american step towards unlocked phones. And if they succeed( i feel they will) the mobile industry in the US will be forced to change its business model.
The Droid Does not have a Snapdragon processor. google makes there pretty penny with marketing. so this whole ad kibosh could come to fruition. and given the openess of android i doent seen any reason why someone with the know how could dissable the ads after buying it at the reduced price. im as excited about this phone as i was about the G1. if all is well and if the price is 500 or below. i absolutely will take the plunge.
This is true as well
we’re geeks, so we know that some phones can play itunes, but to the majority of buyers don’t know that, I see alot of people who carries around an ipod and a cell phone that can play music and never put the two together and just buy a memory card and put music on it. But what I was saying is when buyers think mp3 player, ipod comes 1st in mind, most music players can’t sell a fraction of the ipod, and and buyers look at it as an ipod that can make phone calls(plus it’s so simple to use.
From what I can see I think its no the processor that makes it anymore snappier its that they have updated 2.1 to be faster. BUT we shouldn’t act like 2.0 is slow cause its faster than most smartphone OSes out there.
I believe Android will be a big winner in 2010
Blackberry actually outsells iPhone still 2 to 1 but given that its only on 1 carrier in the US can affect these numbers. There is another video comping up actually talking about iPod and music on phones in general which argue against your last statement there. Stay tuned as it should be up either today or tomorrow.
@marquesbrownlee :
They don’t. Droid has the TI OMAP 550MHz processor. The Nexus One on the other hand is touted to have the 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon.
Thanks for this video! I didn’t know the Nexus One and the Droid had the same processors. Android 2.1 looks SNAPPY on that Nexus One, can’t wait to get in on my Droid!
I can’t wait for this phone, I’m a BlackBerry user, but I want a different experience. What great about Android is you get great os and a CHOICE of phone you want, rather it’s all touch screen, slideout keyboard, HTC or Moto and that what gonna be the future. It wont be an iphone kill, I hate to say this but a new iphone is just around the corner. I don’t care how much power they put in a phone, iphone is a top seller because it’s an ipod and ipods are top sellers.Sad but true.
I hope they will! someone should take apple down.
This is exciting. Google is changing the marketplace and I think they will over take the iphone. The advantage is that android isn’t tied to one carrier.
