Himachal Pradesh is now having a new resort- The Pavilion. This 5 star Resort is promoted by The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (“HPCA”) “The Pavilion” had a opening of its first phase in April 2010. The resort was launched by the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
Parthajeet Sarma from Mumbai based Indian real estate development Management Company , Projectwell Management Pvt Ltd, who are the Project Consultants, said that this was completed in a record time of 5 months. The resort had to be completed in time for the Indian Premier League (IPL) guests, the first of two such matches was held in Dharamsala for the first time on April 16, 2010. When complete, the only luxury resort in the region will have 80 rooms, a Spa, Cottages and Recreational Facilities, all built to international standards. Sarma also said that non-conventional construction methodologies like factory production of building blocks helped in the speedy construction. Spread across 7 acres with the backdrop of the snow-clad Dauladhar mountain ranges, guests will move between blocks on battery operated vehicles.
Such eco friendly construction is being used in the region for the first time and has seen the government giving ample support in an effort to make Himachal Pradesh an eco-friendly and low/zero carbon emission state.
Acoording to source, the development management company ProjectWell has payed a major role in planning and executing the resort. The company is now trying to set up few new projects in Himachal Pradseh for which it is hunting for investors.
