Hostgator Review ? Pros V Cons

How do I forward my posterous blog to a subdomain hosted by hostgator, domain is purchased through godaddy.?

these are the instructions from Posterous but my Godaddy won’t let me do this and says under DNS that it is hosted elsewhere, but I don’t know where to change it at Hostgator.

WordPress 2.7 on hostgator servers, installing plugins, Do I have to unzip files before I FTP to public_html?

Also, after FTP, do I have to unzip files before I put them in my sites plugin directory, or can I just drop and drag the folder? Thanks.
